About us
Savanna tours is a tour organisation and the brainchild of Danie & Lente Blom. It was established in 1998, in the beginning it was small and focussed on cheaper budget tours. It took a lot of blood, sweat and tears to grow it to what it is today. There were limited tours available, but as we became familiar with the accommodation facilities and routes available, a whole new world of potential opened to us. We started exploring and discovered new and exciting routes. Today after 24 years in the industry we have a variety of 24 to 26 tours available anually, and we are still expanding.
In June 2021 Savanna tours came to an abrupt stand-stil due to the unexpected and sudden passing of Danie. Savanna tours was forced to its knees, after approximately two months we started touring again. Danie grew this business in all these years, and he would have wanted us to build further on his legacy.
Savanna tours is much more than just a tour organisation, we are family. We take tremendous pride in our tours and strive to go the extra mile for you. Our accommodation is high quality en-suite, and we ensure scrumptious meals and friendly service.
